The objective of the project is to enhance volunteerism in sport activities as a way to promote social inclusion in suburb areas and small villages.
ACTIV in Sport is a project cofunded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union.
Led by AICEM, it involves 3 EU countries: Italy, Spain and Portugal.
The main aim of the project is to enhance volunteerism in sport activities as a way to promote social inclusion, in suburb areas and small villages.
The project identifies the following objectives:
1) to identify and test an educational programme to train volunteers able to organize sport activities in disadvantageous neighbourhood and small villages;
2) to enhance the possibility to access to the sport field for young people living in disadvantaged neighbourhood and small villages as a way to promote social inclusion;
3) to spread awareness about volunteering in sports as a means to promote social inclusion, active participation and citizenship and well-being.
The outcomes of the project will be a collection of good practices, a toolkit with guidelines for other organizations to enhance volunteerism in sport activities.
