As the ‘HELP’ Student Network Meeting in Riga in May 2010 proved to be a huge success, the European Commission decided to have a follow-up meeting in Brussels in October 2010 to evaluate the outcome and scope of the Youth Declaration on Tobacco Control adopted in Riga, to adopt a commitment document dedicated to youth and student organizations, as well as to collect best practices.
The European Commission invites young Europeans (age 18-30, EU citizens) with interest in tobacco control to participate in the ‘HELP’ Student Network Meeting II taking place from 15-16 October 2010 in Brussels, Belgium.
The second HELP youth meeting will also provide a perfect opportunity to exchange best practices and to further develop effective smoke-free youth projects. In a project fair, the participants will have a chance to present current and past youth projects tackling smoking issues
